What if the symbol of truth and justice did not land in the American heartland but in the heart of Palestine instead?This is an transformative, alternate universe (AU) story following Careem "Khalil" Kanaan, a mild-mannered reporter from the occupied West Bank. Careem was taken in and raised by two kindly parents who nurtured love for truth, justice and homeland in the young man. This AU follows Careem's journey navigating life under occupation, apartheid and the constant looming threat of settler violence.The last son of Krypton is the son of the most holy of Lands, come join us in Khalil's journey and help offer a line of hope to our friend in Gaza.This is a charity zine benefiting Sandra, a friend providing for her family in the besieged Gaza.

Contributor Guidelines
1. Contributors must be at least 16 years of age before applying.2. Contributors must create a new piece with original composition specifically for this zine. AI generated pieces are NOT allowed.3. Contributors using AI technology for art and writing submissions will be removed without warning.4. Communication will happen on Discord for organization; contributors are strongly encouraged to have an account for easier communication between mods and fellow contributing artists.5. No sharing of full pieces outside the server until mods approve it (although previews are allowed).6. Full sharing is only permitted post-publishing unless allowed by mods during fundraising efforts. Reminder: This is a strictly non-profit zine project.7. Regular check-ins are important. Mods must be informed if extensions are needed.8. Breaking any outlined rules in the guidelines (e.g., plagiarism, harassment) or engaging in harmful conduct outside the server leads to immediate removal. This includes but is not limited to: racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia, transphobia, hate speech, and other hateful rhetoric.9. We will not be accepting contributors who engage or participate in themes that fall under the proship umbrella this includes but isn't limited to pedophilia, incest and sexual violence. This is for the safety of our contributors and supporters.

1. What is a zine?
A zine, short for fanzine or magazine, is a small self-published booklet that is made by many contributors and published for other fans to buy.2. Who can apply as a Contributor?
See the Contributor Guidelines for more information.3. How many contributors will be accepted?
This depends on the interest check. We want to see how many people will want to contribute before we decide on a final number. For now, we aim to reach at least 30-45 artists.4. What roles can we apply for as a Contributor?
You can apply for the following:
• Page Artist –– you will be tasked on one page to complete one (1) illustration. You may pitch your own illustrations, as well as brainstorm with our other artists.
• Spot Artist –– you will be assigned with a writer, creating a small illustration that reflects the writer’s piece (e.g. half-page illustrations, portraits, background, or object art). Collaboration skills are needed!
• Writer –– you will be tasked to finish a writing assignment of your choice. You may pitch the type of writing you’re willing to do (e.g. fanfiction, articles, or other writing pieces.)5. Will we be given a set deadline for our piece? How much time will be allotted for the contributors?
We aim to complete the zine in late April.6. Will this zine be for-profit or for-charity?
